Responsible development.
Lasting impact.
Principled operations.

SamadRock is committed to operating in a way that is good for Egypt, good for the communities where we work, and good for the long-term interests of our partners and our people.

Our ESG Approach

ESG is not a reporting
exercise. It is how
we operate.

Environmental, social and governance principles are embedded in how SamadRock identifies opportunities, structures partnerships, manages operations and engages with communities. We do not retrofit ESG onto existing practices. It informs them from the outset.

Environmental

Responsible stewardship of Egypt's natural resources

Projects we develop are assessed against environmental impact criteria before development. Where we are engaged on a client's project, we work to the environmental standards set out in that engagement, including Environmental Impact Assessment and ongoing monitoring where these apply.

We are committed to responsible land use, water conservation, waste minimisation, and, where applicable, progressive rehabilitation of sites post-operation. Egypt's natural resources are a national asset; we treat them as such.

Social

Community investment and workforce development

SamadRock's approach is inseparable from Egypt's national development. We prioritise local employment, local supply chain development and skills transfer, particularly in the strategic industrial regions where our projects are located, outside the major urban centres.

Community engagement is standard practice on the projects we develop. We work with local communities to understand their concerns, share the benefits of development and maintain ongoing dialogue throughout the project lifecycle.

Safety

Zero tolerance for preventable harm

The safety of our people is non-negotiable. SamadRock applies Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management practices across its own activities, and supports HSE standards on the projects where it is engaged, office, field and industrial. Incident investigation, near-miss reporting, and continuous improvement are embedded in our operating culture.

We hold ourselves to international safety standards regardless of local minimum requirements. Our long-term objective is zero preventable harm across all SamadRock operations.

Governance

Ethics and transparency embedded at every level

SamadRock operates under the governance requirements of a UK-registered company, with additional voluntary commitments to transparency, anti-corruption standards and responsible business conduct. All partners, suppliers and contractors are expected to share these standards.

Our full governance framework is publicly available. We believe transparency is the foundation of trust, with partners, with communities and with the institutions whose confidence makes our work possible.

Our Commitments

Specific.
Measurable.
Accountable.

SamadRock is developing a formal ESG reporting framework as the group matures. We are committed to publishing measurable performance data on our key ESG metrics, not because reporting is required, but because accountability demands it.

Our target is to publish an annual ESG review covering environmental performance, workforce metrics, community investment, safety statistics and governance disclosures, aligned to internationally recognised reporting standards.
