Authority to
represent
SamadRock.

Who can speak for the company, who can commit it, and how to confirm that the person you are dealing with is authorised.

The Short Version

Only authorised
representatives can
commit SamadRock.

If you are negotiating with someone who says they act for SamadRock, you are entitled to confirm that they do. We would encourage you to. This page explains how authority works at SamadRock so that you can deal with us confidently, and so that nobody is left relying on a commitment that was never ours to give.

Only an authorised representative may

  • negotiate on behalf of SamadRock
  • make commitments binding the company
  • enter into agreements in its name
  • issue official statements or documents
  • represent the company to third parties

Authority is

  • granted expressly and in writing by the company
  • specific — it covers defined matters, not everything
  • current — it can be withdrawn or may lapse
  • confirmable — ask us and we will tell you
  • never created by a verbal statement alone
Why We Are Explicit

This protects you
more than it
protects us.

In July 2026 SamadRock withdrew all continuing authorities, appointments and representations previously granted in its name, unless reaffirmed in writing after that date. That included letters of authorisation, agency appointments, negotiation authorities and similar instruments.

The reason was straightforward: authority granted years ago, for a particular purpose, was in some cases still being presented as though it were current and general. Nobody benefits from that — least of all a third party negotiating in good faith with someone who cannot actually bind us.

So the position now is simple. Nobody holds authority to represent SamadRock merely because they once did. If it matters to your decision, ask us.

Confirm a representative

Tell us who you are dealing with and what they say they are authorised to do. We will confirm the position in writing.

Asking costs you nothing and takes us very little time. It is a normal part of doing business properly.

Practical Points

What this means
day to day.

01

Verbal does not bind

A conversation, a call or an informal message does not commit SamadRock, whoever it came from. Commitments are made in writing by an authorised representative.

02

Introductions are not authority

Someone who introduced you to SamadRock, or who has worked with us before, does not thereby hold authority to negotiate or commit on our behalf.

03

Past authority has lapsed

Authorities granted before 5 July 2026 were withdrawn unless reaffirmed in writing after that date. A historic letter is not evidence of current authority.

04

Existing contracts continue

Withdrawing authorities did not terminate contracts that remain enforceable under their own terms. Where a continuing authority arises from such an agreement, we will confirm it in writing on request.

Not sure who you
are dealing with?

Ask us. We will confirm in writing whether a person or organisation is authorised to represent SamadRock, and on what.
